The ticketed events including programs on chocolate, lamb dishes, the kinds of cheese, Italian food, Alsace Hearty stews, savory seafood dishes and amuse-bouche (appetizers). Thanksgiving food and wine pairing
When planning to pair wines with dinner Thanksgiving is important to note that this food has many complex flavors that make the match a real challenge.
For a soup course, I prefer a Gewurztraminer or Viognier white wine and cream that can be combined with exotic and flavorful. With the main dish of turkey, a supporter of Pinot Noir (the industry recommended course wine pairing).
Pinot Noir with fruity, low levels of tannins and earthy notes pair well with turkey and classic flavors savory stuffing recipe.
