Is it easy to get reviews of concerts / shows?

My plan is to play some shows very soon … I know feedback is important when one is building a press kit or resume 'plan, but how I can obtain a fix? i play at the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles in places such as whiskey, and the key club …

Hello Johnny. In fact, it's harder to get revised, that to obtain a promotion or demonstration review. The reason is simple … it takes more time and effort to attend a concert. Even if you're on the guest list, there are still traffic and therefore general paid parking. If the band sux massively, is wasteful and aggravating the night. Not surprisingly, many of the reviewers only review concerts of bands they already know. In comparison, a reviewer can try a demo / promo in 5 or 10 minutes to see if it is promising, and then give a couple of good hearing that deserves a review. If you have a CD, then you may want to reasearch especially online webzines that specialize in any genre to play. There are any number of sites that accept records requested for review. There is a snowball effect is always a stranger who participate … very difficult to get the first test, but if the first is good, then others tend to jump on board. If you do not have a CD and want to comment on their live performances, then best bet might be to invite the DJ station local college radio. You may need to offer free drinks to sweeten the deal, however. Good luck to you.
