The north face of Slievenamon?
I wanted to hike to the top of Slievenamon from my first visits to the area as a child, but did not return to do so. I'll be back in the area soon and I am determined to finally get my lazy ass there. So what is the best – and easiest – way to approach this? Where I can set up base camp (park your car)? How long will the assault on the summit to take? Could Carroll 20, a glass of whiskey and a pack of those Tayta enough to make the journey? Any information on this would be appreciated. Thanks! Can not find a detailed map and online it is difficult to judge distance and level of difficulty … any ideas? Thanks
Driving around the southern slope to the village of Ballypatrick, and park your car there, and simply follow the path of the mountain. Change the water whiskey, do not bother with cigarettes, and you should be higher.
