What's the best digital camera for discreet concert photos?
When talking Compacts or subcompacts, What point and shoot should I use for concerts? I need something size cell phone around so That I Can consistently to sneak it in concerts. I Also Need good zoom (for when i do not get great seats). Also it must be-great-at taking shots in Difficult and variable lighting – It's Always very dark, with flashing lights on the colors of random people on the stage. Video is a plus. My cell phone is the best I've done so far for photos or videos, so I do not know what camera features would be most important at a venue in the Los Angeles concert scene. I see concerts at places as small as or Canyon Club Whiskey, small clubs like The King and House of Blues, mid-sized or Greek places like Hollywood Bowl, and large venues like the Coliseum and Dodger Stadium.
How about the cheapest one available. That way it will not hurt so much When They take it away. Also get a nice big padded fanny pack for When They throw you out on your bottom.
