I think there may be drowned my flowers are going to come back to life?

Just wondering what to do to get them to start growing again. I have thoughts, petunias, verbena, and marigolds. They are out of a whiskey barrel planter and some are only in the field. What should I do??

Well, depending on how long "drowning" them and they can return to life. However, if many cells were killed by excess water, their dead. The cells are supposed to be able to regulate the absorption of water, but more water will cause the roots to begin to rot because they can not breathe. If you still are alive at all, get them out of the pot, the land I'm not sure. If the roots do not look dying / rotting wrap them in paper towels and change as they absorb excess water. If it looks bad rinse the roots and take a knife to the dead parts. Repot with just enough water to moisten the soil.
