Whiskey Vs Scotch

whiskey vs scotch
blended malt vs. single malt scotch whiskey?

What is the difference between blended and single malt scotch, and do most seasoned scotch drinkers have a preference for either one?

Yeah, what he said about the difference in how they are made. I am a seasoned scotch drinker and alcoholic and I can tell you first hand that single malt is heavily preferred. Single malt is made from one whisky/one distillery and is a lot fuller in flavor. I’ve all the Johnnie Walkers and even the mac daddy one can’t compare to a decent (not even great) single malt. The aroma and flavor are fuller and sharper, and it’s just a better quality. Oh and when you refer to scotch you drop the “e” in whisky.
