The village is located about five miles northeast of the city of Sudbury, and can be found on a hill on the west bank of the River Brett. The crest consists of two valleys and ravines into three parts: the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul (pictured above) is in the southern section, Lavenham Market in the central part, and the remains of a windmill atops northernmost section. The southern valley contains a stream running between the pond in Lavenham Hall and Brett, but was covered by a culvert 500 years ago, and the aptly named Water Street built on the top.

The Angel Hotel
The Angel Hotel in Lavenham Market Place was first licensed in 1420 and is believed to Lavenham's oldest Inn. The Hotel Casa Grande
If you're a fan of this boutique-style hotel, La Casa Grande Hotel in Lavenham not disappoint. The Swan Lavenham
Lavenham The Swan was built in 1400 and consists of three houses dating from the same period. The oldest part dates from the late 14th century. Today, the Visitors will be delighted to find as the quintessential English country hotel with old oak beams, fireplaces furniture rich and sumptuous fabrics, more and AA Rosette and known restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, serving the best of modern English cuisine. The Bildeston Crown
Lavenham not directly but in a nice village nearby is Bildeston The Bildeston Crown. The original hotel is a grade 2 listed, century coaching inn fifteenth that creatively and lovingly renovated and refurbished in 2003, without losing the character of the past 600 years. There are twelve en-suite bedrooms have been decorated uniquely to the highest standards – The most luxurious is the room Fuchsia Black (pictured below) with dramatic black décor, accentuated by hot fuchsia, and not for the faint of heart!
