Whiskey Sour Egg White

whiskey sour egg white
Percentage of alcohol in a whiskey sour?

If I order a whiskey sour in a club, how much% of alcohol would be in it? I also read the recipe sometimes put in a little egg white. Do you think they do in the clubs? (I'm allergic to eggs)

Well, it depends: How's whiskey much to put in the drink? I am a bartender and generally should not be 1.5 ounces of liquor in a typical drink. I serve more as 2 ounces. Whisky is usually going to be distilled 80 degrees (40 percent alcohol). You''re probably going to have about 3 oz (more or less) of the mixer in your drink. so if you do the math, that would be about 15 percent of alcohol per drink before the ice begins to melt. Have fun! PS You only have egg in a bar that is very particular about their beverages, not your average club. When you order a whiskey sour in the middle instead of whiskey and Wil get sweet and sour mix.
