Home Remedies for Athletes Foot
All a common skin problems, athlete's foot affects mostly men and boys. This skin problem can be found in the area between the toes, soles of the feet and toenails. Athlete's foot is caused by a fungus called athlete's foot living from dead cells the skin moist and thrive in warm places like gyms, locker rooms, showers and pools. If you come into contact with wet soil or touching infected shoes and socks, can contract this disease.
The symptoms are burning sensation in those affected areas, itching, redness, peeling and blistering.
Prevention of athlete's foot – - To combat athlete's foot, keep your feet dry all time. After drying, remove any loose skin to allow penetration of the drug in the infected area. – Use medicated powder or baking soda in your shoes and socks. It will absorb some of the perspiration and help neutralize the skin. – Use cotton or absorbent socks and wash in hot water with bleach. – Give your shoes breathing room and time to dry before reuse. – Clean inside the shoes with white vinegar or a disinfectant spray. – Use deodorant to keep down the sweating. – Dry thoroughly with a towel or a hair dryer.
Natural home remedies for athlete's foot –
– Add 40 drops of tea tree oil to a small amount of water or olive oil and soak your feet there for 10 minutes. Towel dry and blow dry to ensure no presence of any moisture. If you still find the area still wet, put a few drops of tea tree oil in the affected area.
– Dab diluted alcohol into the affected area and allow to dry. The alcohol dissolves the water, helps dry skin and reduce the risk of attracting the fungus.
– Soak your feet in the mixture of apple cider vinegar and water for 10 minutes every day until the symptoms disappear. vinegar Apple cider with its antifungal properties help relieve itching, flaking and killing the fungus. Instead of dipping, may also cover the fungus with a ball cotton soaked in apple cider vinegar
– Immerse affected areas in a solution of baking soda and water for 30 minutes daily.
– Mix six tablespoons of dried chaparral leaves room to a boiling cheap whiskey or wine. Reduce to simmer for 20 minutes. Remove and let stand for 8 hours. Soak your feet in this solution.
– Boil 4 cups water, add 8-10 broken sticks of cinnamon, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stir and let stand for 45 minutes. Use as a footbath. Canela effectively combats both yeast and fungal infections.
– Put some freshly crushed garlic on the affected area and leave for half an hour, wash with water. Do this once a day for a week. Alternatively, you can use diluted garlic juice, garlic powder or garlic oil. Garlic is an antibiotic good that can kill the fungus that causes athlete's foot.
– Add one ounce of chopped fresh ginger to a cup of boiling water and simmer for 20 minutes. It let cool and apply it twice a day.
– Rub raw honey on infected areas before bedtime. Cover the stand with an old sock and left overnight.
– Soak the affected area in the herbal tea foot bath of goldenseal and thyme once a day.
– Mix about 80-90 drops of extract grapefruit seed and two ounces of water and applied to the affected areas with cotton wool two or three times a day.
– Mix 2 teaspoons salt to a pint of warm water and soak your feet for 10-15 minutes and dry thoroughly. The salt kills the fungus and reduces perspiration.
