Whiskey History

Which is an interesting issue in U.S. history?
I have to do a presentation on a topic in U.S. history. It should be sufficiently wide (unlike the American Revolution, large or small-Whiskey Rebellion), but I have no preference as to what to do. Tips it would be interesting to talk about, please? Oh, and do not want something technical, like the Constitution. Thanks! ^ – ^ Oh, I also forgot to mention the issue must be something covered in the AP exams.
Any aspect of civil rights, women's suffrage and win the right to vote, the Oregon Trail and the caravan to start what is now Portland, Clara Barton and the formation of the Red Cross, Ellis Island, the Chicago Fire, the San Francisco earthquake, the abolitionist movement, history Baseball in the U.S., the Battle of Gettysburg, Lewis & Clark expedition, the Louisiana Purchase … they are all fascinating topics.
