Whisky and cigars – the perfect couple!
A chiselled jawed Eastwood tanning preparing his gun in the first blow of the door, leaving the space age its most unpleasant coveted province! After the fight that followed did not even need a vaccine, Eastwood is walking in slow motion, have a drink and bite the very bottom, ready to fire, surveying the gap even for life – a classic "western time and a part of living in real life!
Let's face this time – what could be a better way to close the delightful day to relax and set fire to every sip of our favorite drink (malt scotch unique is what I like) with a cigar heaven! Cigars and whiskey are seriously two of the best things in life and when working in groups, both may invoke the most beautiful experiences. It works for me and I see no reason why it would not be for you or anyone else!
It has taken some hundreds of judges, the brain several assault (rather "tongue storming") events and tasting sessions (mostly) in Cuba and Scotland to really appreciate the experience. The association between the assertion of two of the best relaxing on the planet, ie cigars and whiskey, said this combination as delicate as one of the best, that civilization human could ever conceive. My last visit to Paris to celebrate the anniversary of a world renowned brand of light gave me a reason to glorify the cause, where I had the opportunity to love this combination paradise of La Habana and Scotland – cigars and malt. Since then, I am readily prepared to battle who opposed to the heavenly combination of cigarettes with the whiskey, the reasoning and the waste of good taste.
Refinement on earth for me, of course, now defined by single malt whiskey, lit by the glow of the best breads. Growing in my newly refined tastes, due to the interest of new development (which in any time, became an obsession), I started pairing these two manifestations of improvement in various combinations imaginable. And to the dismay of my competitors, I would love to gloat that a variety of cigars to complement a variety of whiskeys. However, my favorite among all remains no more than mild light malt with a medium to full-bodied cigar (preferably, Cuba).
A lighted Cohiba Siglo IV and a glass of Highland Park single malts and make an awesome pair these are the names thoughtfully leaving my mouth when asked to mark my love for the delicate ecstasy. A Partagas D 4 also goes very well with a malt Lagavulin unique. However, (when it ceased to be nepotistic) is the certainty that only the pure are not going to whiskey – whiskey or not ..! I do not need no partner because once you cultivate a taste for it, it's pretty easy to figure out an odd couple!
