Is it more healthy for you to drink beer, liquor?

I tend to drink more alcohol than beer one. Average liquor (whiskey, vodka) is 40% proof rum is say 35%, while the beers are an average of 6% from what I remember. So is it healthy to get a buzz a few beers than hardcore drinking liquor? The strange thing is that they are wrong very hangovers beer (usually extra crown), and is not as bad liquor. Also, if anyone knows, there and what are some of the serious effects of alcohol on their bodies next to your liver?
