Number Five most requested cocktail of summer – Fruited Brandy Punch

This has become a favorite in my house and a lot of parties attend, the more likely that everyone loves and you can make a huge amount and serve in a punch bowl.

1 / 2 part brandy (I use Christian Brothers brand)
1 part lemon-lime soda
2 pieces of fruit juice (blueberry and peach mix is my favorite)
1 / 2 bag frozen fruit (blueberries and strawberries look great)
An ice rink with fruit (see recipe below)
Slices of lemons, limes and oranges, if desired

Mix juices fruit and frozen fruit together in a nice punch bowl or container.

Pour in the lemon-lime soda, stir gently and then float an ice ring on top (See recipe below). Rather than spike the punch, I serve the brandy on the side for my guests who prefer non-alcoholic punch can drink.

To ice rink

Pour 1-2 cups of the juice mixture from above into a Bundt pan or other mold. Add some fruit and / or fresh citrus slices. Freezing from one day to another.

Just before serving, place the bread in some hot water to loosen the ice ring and then turn it into the bowl. It is a presentation very nice, cools the punch and since it is made with juice, not water from the blow. Perfect!

This recipe can easily be altered so it can serve a drink that is really gaining popularity lately. Just leave out the fruit and the ice ring.
