Beer Pong Vs Beruit
Dear drinkers,
Thanks for looking at my item to the point that I was asked to do one more this week. Like the general public because of a job for me. Only joking … but seriously. Haha. Yes I'm not really that funny.
Back to business, this week I would like talk about something that has been troubling me for a while. As you know, I am a college student and as such, I know what is beer pong. But what I know is it really? The answer, surprisingly to many, is no. Most college students have never actually played beer pong in their lives. They have, however, played Beirut on several occasions.
Modern college students are asking for beer pong is actually called Beirut. Beirut is 6 or 10 cups in a triangle on a table while one or two teams try to throw ping-pong balls into cups of your opponent. (For details, look at the game page. It is still under beer pong.) Now we need some real beer pong.
OK, so the game of beer pong is, in fact, very similar to Beirut, but at the same time, very different. The table is the same, preferably a ping-pong. And the balls, mugs, and beer are the same. The only real difference is that there are more than 10 cups per side and instead of throwing balls, which really struck with an oar. I think it's much more fun. This brings up a new theme though.
If the college scene, being that is, was or will be, most of America, beer pong Beirut asks, if we just change them. Beer pong is called Beirut and vice versa. This will solve the problem, Right? I personally do not think so. While people are calling the wrong name to reach people still call it the name of the people who know him as Beirut losing.
Practically it is your decision. If you have not tried to play real beer pong, I seriously suggest. Itâ € ™ s very funny (like its mom) and come to a really drunk (hence why I know that your mother is very funny). So try your hand and tell me what you think. I'm here all week to give me some suggestions.
