Strong Beer List

Why the Lakers say strong beer 6.5% in the case, but appears as a 5.9% in the Beer Store and LCBO websites?
That is much, I was just wondering why that was. I've seen with other types of beer as well, which was marked higher in the case or label, but also was 5.9% in the sites. One of the things that is technically called "Laker Strong 6.5" and I know that the name need not be the percentage, but in reality is listed as "alc. 6.5%" in other parts of the case, etc too. I wonder if there is any law that states can only be a certain percentage to qualify for one thing or another, but there are others found in other beers that are not lowered rates at the sites. Also, does anyone know what the correct percentage?
craft breweries often change their recipes or sometimes just lack consistency in brewing, so one batch to another can be found small differences such as ABV. Besides being a smaller company that may tend to use up any packaging material they have, regardless of whether or no information about them is 100% accurate in an effort to save money. The information in stores and on web sites is probably just old. To my knowledge there are no laws governing all the necessary information to appear in a beer under the label of the surgeon general warning, then again last I checked was at least a year ago. As far as I can tell you is 5.9% ABV, but without knowing the specifics of the beer can neither confirm nor deny that.
