specializes in communications a bad idea?
I am a senior year at this time and I think major in communications next year in college. I was looking at books with tips for college and I found this: "The CollegeHumor Guide to College: Sale kidneys from Beer Money, Sleeping with their teachers, specializing in Communications and Other Very Good Ideas "The sale of kidneys for beer money and sleep with their teachers are obviously not good ideas so that seems to imply that a specialization in communications is not such a good idea. WHY IS THAT? Is there something I'm missing here? Why is majoring in communications is a bad idea? After seeing that, I'm starting to worry about my main option. someone Please help me! THANK youuuu!
Hello, Communication is a very respectable important. Some careers with a degree of communication are the news reporter, journalists, speaker, etc. Honestly, though, I've never heard of a greater evil. If communication is what you really love, then by all means, go for it! You'll still have time to change your major when you're in college to worry about that. Do not worry about what you've read on the cover of the guide Humor College. Unless a professional proof or evidence that the communication is bad (did not say that the communication is bad covers though), I do not worry about it. If you like, try to investigate the communication in some places the university (preferably in the university web sites that you like).
