Rye Whisky Cocktails
What manly drink should I have as a substitute if I don’t like beer and I’m going to be around my guy friends?
I’m a new drinker. I’ve tried corona, keiths, and coors light and I just don’t like any of them. If anything, the keiths was the most bearable, but I could never finish a large drink of it… only like half. They say it’s an acquired taste…. the girly drinks obviously taste good ahaha, like cocktails, mixed drinks (whiskey sours, teuila/vodka in them, etc). I had a dirty martini as my first drink and I wanted to eat myself because it tasted like crap omg lool.
I had rye and coke and didn’t like that. I’ve tried smirnoff ice which I actually liked, but some people tell me it’s a girly drink. So I want to know what drink (as a substitute for beer) I can drink around my guy friends so I don’t feel like a retard.

Shandy……lager and lemonade, it looks just like a glass of ‘light’ lager but tastes much more refreshing.
Alternatively just drink what you like and ignore the remarks, which would die down after a few nights out.
