Voters in five districts approved parcel taxes, the schools battered by deep cuts forced by declining state revenues, voters in several communities in the South Bay on Tuesday agreed to tax themselves more to support their schools, as at least five districts exceeded two-thirds hurdle to approve parcel taxes.
