Why is it that all the tables in the bars are crooked and you have to put a coaster under the legs?
I had to respond to your question .. Nostalgic memories .. my grandfather, who died four years ago used to go to a spit n sawdust "typical" pub, (ie a bit hard!) and sat at a table that was against a position of 'long leather plastic taped in diameter) sitting in' their 'table always uses to falter as the pub had no carpet and always used to bend a coaster to prevent wobbles … when he went to the "people to get their ermm 'shopping worth extra .. "2 pounds of cheese a quid 4 (I already asked), so we used to move the coasters and used to go crazy with the wobbly table! .. Happy, happy times memories .. thanks for your question x
