What would be the most profitable location in Hawaii for a waiter?
I have 21 years and has just completed the courses at the Professional Bartending School. I am looking to move to Hawaii, but not sure which city is better for me. I'm assuming the Honolulu / Waikiki area would be very profitable for waiters taking into account the large number of tourists throughout the year. Also, the party or the islands of Hawaii could find cheaper rent? Ah, and what is the best way to get around the island and not have a vehicle when you arrive? Any input is greatly appreciated! Thanks, Jeff
I do not come to Hawaii just to serve drinks. Our tourism is decreasing with the increase of flights and the economy into a recession. My uncle who was a waiter over 20 years I was laid off in Waikiki. is difficult to find a job as a waiter to pay well. my friend just finished school and to her bartender can not find a job. Only my 2 cents. If you have a car the cheapest way to move would be to buy a bus pass. I hope you know that the cost of living in Hawaii is also expensive. Good luck!
