Does the minimum price for alcohol right?

Scotland looks set to go ahead with plans to introduce minimum prices for alcohol. Projects law under discussion to the Scottish Parliament on Thursday, we will bring plans to fix prices. Is this a reasonable response to antisocial behavior, or intrusion of a nanny state? For those of you in England and elsewhere, remember that before the Smoking Ban here first. "The draft law on alcohol, spokesman said it would stop "resistance high beer and cider sold for pocket money prices" without affecting quality products as Scotch whiskey. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/8228599.stm Oh. I forgot. They are also proposing a referendum on Scottish independence. Hal. I doubted their prices, but you're right Asda are selling paint stripper vodka at £ 4.48 for 70cl! I think it's a touch too cheap, but surely £ 8 – £ 10 is fair and reasonable for a bottle of vodka? (I do not mud economic class as anything other than poison)

Supermarkets, yes. The price of vodka paintstripper is ridiculous! For bars, as pheemz said, enforcing existing laws! You can not serve alcohol to an intoxicated person. What is the point that if not implemented?! Pah! As a poor but responsible drinker, I'll be wacky if I'm paying more! In fact I'm going to start making my own drink! Ha … Dead End …
