Is there less alcohol content in beer at a sporting event like a baseball game?
I live in Chicago and recently heard on a popular radio show here in Chicago (The Mac, Jurka, and Harry Parade) there was less alcohol served at the ballpark on a normal beer to be buy in a store. I brought this to my friends and they thought it was ridiculous. They say there is no way that they were paid $ 6.50 per beer for a beer with less alcohol it contains. So does anyone out there to know this because I tried searching in yahoo and I can not seem to find the answer.
No, unless Lite beer are serving what is called "near beer" – which is less alcohol than regular beer. Check the alcohol content of regular beer – and duh, stage call and ask what brands of beer they serve and if they serve beer "close."
