Popular Alcohol Shot

what is the science behind an hour "power"?
I've always heard there is a kind of science among the popular drinking ritual where take a sip of beer every minute for 60 minutes is called feeding time. Since you are only drinking 5 cans of beer, how come you so drunk? I consider myself to have an above average tolerance for alcohol, I prefer a package can easily take 30 in one night, but for some reason the power hour I get lost. The only thing I can think is that somehow the repetition has something to do with how fast your body processes the beer. I do not want any silly response, responses only at least semi-educated, thanks!
you are right, is the separation between each shot … because the minutes between each drink, your body is perceived as a beer chugging diluted for 60 minutes straight. while his body is still processing the first shot, then put in another and overlap a bit, then another drink, then another until there is a very well built reservoir alcohol awaiting trial, he never gives you any time to sober between each drink. get the same level of drunks doing an hour of energy as you would if you were to chug them 5 beers in 5 minutes, but it is much easier on the stomach!
