Plastic Martini Glasses

I have a sweet sixteen … please help!?
So my xv is in April 2009, but I'm planning at this time so I can have everything ready. The theme: Springtime in Paris and my mom is now thinking only what they have in the backyard is a nice size. But I need help on what a little 'paris themed "food you should get some decorations to it for under $ 300 and any fun idea which would make my night even more special. I thought about getting some plastic martini glasses and put sugar around the rim and put lemonade in it … put lights around this gateway arch that is … and have a mural near the entrance you can take pictures and have a "menu" provided by the buffet table in French and English. Any ideas? Please tell me some ideas you may have, please and thanks!
Check out the website of the Oriental Trading Company for the decoration of very low cost and early ideas of all. Here are some other ideas: 1. This Christmas, invest in small white lights used to decorate Christmas trees and outdoor. For their part, hang in the green and around perimeters, etc 2. Not sure where you live, but April could bring "April Showers," which you may want to see to have a tent or an indoor alternative. 3. You will have a dance floor, either by creating a rolling carpet, or hire one. 4. Consider hiring a DJ if you can afford it, and if you can not "hire" one of his friends to do the honors for their special night. 5. Visit your local retail florist for lots of spring flowers "to the tables. You may also want to invest in bedding, towels (do raffia napkin and fresh flowers), china real and glasses. If not, there are some really good you can buy fabrics in fabric stores for sale, etc for the tables. 6. candles and lanterns are a must have at least on the tables and gateways. Here are some menu ideas: 1. Asparago, cooked crisp and wrapped with prosciutto 2. French baguettes, good cheese, pate and a country, French ham, pickles, dijon mustard, etc. 3. Mini quiches, steamed veges with a tender crisp anchovies, garlic and oil dressing. (Bagna Cauda) 4. Herb roasted chicken is served cold or at room temperature 5. Onion soup in small cups with melted gruyere on toasted baguette slices. 6. Salad with goat cheese cups, lettuce, drizzled with a simple dressing of vinegar, dijon mustard and oil and chopped chives. 7. Mini desserts: creme brulee, fresh strawberries dipped in chocolate, chocolate mousse in shot glasses, fruit tarts and other 8. You may want to create a "wine" for his guests through a combination of cranberry juice cocktail pommegranite juice, and serve in glasses of wine. For "white wine drinkers, consider white grape juice with white tea. Anyway, good luck and remember, regardless of how things are going, you're only 16 once to enjoy!
