party beer steins
Do you have some good German recipes?

I have one and Stein (Frank beer and sausages) game, but I want some other foods for German to side dishes. Do you have a favorite you can pass along? Thanks in advance! WOW – recipes by Cindy are awesome! I stayed in Frankfurt for 2 weeks and all seemed very familiar. I will be making potato salad for sure! Yes party – the "Frankenstein" Frank and Stein was an idea from my friend and I had – This is the second year and increasingly large and flat! LOL!

GERMAN CHEESE CAKE 1 16 oz ricotta cheese 2 small cottage 8 oz package cream cheese, softened 1 1 / 2 cups sugar 4 eggs, beaten 1 / 4 cup cornstarch 2 tablespoons lemon juice 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 1 / 2 cup butter, melted 12 oz sour cream cracker crumbs (for bark) of butter a 10 inch springform pan well. Dust the bottom and side with graham cracker crumbs liberally. In a food processor food or in the bowl of an electric mixer using the paddle attachment, mix cottage cheese and cream cheese at low speed until smooth. At high speed, low add a little sugar and eggs for only a few seconds. Turn speed to low. Add cornstarch, lemon juice, vanilla extract and melted butter. Pour spingform in prepared pan. Bake at 325F until firm around edges, about 60-70 minutes. Turn off the oven. Allow cheesecake to remain in oven with door closed for two hours. Cool on a rack. Remove from pan and store in refrigerator. Can be frozen. =]
