New York (http://new-york.ixs.net) is known as the city that never sleeps. Whether it's jazz live, rock, comedy, or cabaret, or if it is sweating on a dance floor, or simply observing people in a neighborhood bar, New York has plenty of options for your evening entertainment. From restaurants to theater, poetry readings from all-night raves, New York City is the place to be.

Nightlife is still largely in the center. Home of Broadway, Times Square is enjoying a renaissance, with American theme restaurants, bars and cinemas attracting huge tourist audiences. The East Village, from 14th Street to Houston east of Broadway, is famous for its local bars that stay open late and small clubs live music frequented by young people a set of rock-and-roll. Midtown, especially around Hell's Kitchen, is developing a reputation. Almost all world cuisines is well represented – from Afghanistan to Ethiopia to Vietnamese to Polish – as almost every cuisine. Most of their kitchens are open until 2 am. Times Square, Ninth Avenue, SoHo, East Village, Greenwich Village and the Upper West Side are especially known for its restaurants. The restaurants of the best known, most expensive and popular require reservations, especially on weekends

Not necessarily have to be a weekend. Night life is active every night of the week as no one in New York is waiting for the weekend. You can be sure that most of nightclubs and other places like that will be packed on Saturday night.
