Is there a proper name for a table with wheels?
I want to find a name for the small tables on wheels that are sometimes used in restaurants for put a dessert display table so you can choose from a range. I've also seen (more like an old and not a modern piece of furniture) used as such in homes. I guess the agent would have wheels so that a guest could choose their drink and then pour the drink in front of them? I'm sure there's a name for themselves, but I can not think of it!
Dumb waiter is not the right answer. A dumbwaiter is a conduit embedded in the wall of a restaurant with multiple stories, so food can be transported from one floor to another – a kind of lift for food. In Britain, this is a dessert cart, beverage cart, sweet chariot, etc. It is a car. The United States is a tank of desserts, drinks trolley, hostess trolley, etc. It is a car.
