Opinions about the color of the border to finish the basement?

I am finishing my basement in a modern design with a home theater, gym, kitchen, additional bedroom, office space, a warehouse and a wide open game room. I'm thinking of painting the black trim, and possibly paint or stain the doors of a different color, as dk. brown. The color scheme is going to be bright colors such as green kiwi, red and cobalt blue. The rest of the house is transitional white design on the seat and door. I have 9 'ceilings and windows with lintels of several 4-glass and glass doors to allow light, so I'm not really worried about it being too dark. The apartment I have chosen for the theater is a Red / geometric print, the champagne cork and the neutral white / brown / tan 24 "tile stainless steel rods accent. I wonder if anyone has seen or done black trim and opinion. Thank you.

Black satin is a wonderful ornament. Sometimes the tone a little with some dark brown paint to make it warmer. In his cellar, where it will brown and tan, which could help pull together very well. Another way to do if you think black is too cold is to roll a coat of amber lacquer on it to warm. But I'd say go for it. That would a great way to have continuity and flow between rooms and would be very surprising against the bold colors that you chose in the main hall. Enjoy!
