House groups and a rotating list of guest musicians perform live music every night. dark and dirty, it's just what you'd expect from a bar on the ground low ski town party. Special Expect cheap drinks (I shot), people do not realize the effects of alcohol in height, and time often snoring continues long after closing time with revelers leaving to take a slice of pizza in retaliation or Pazzos before crashing back into the condo.
'Tu Gettin Groove on: SamanĂ¡
If you can move your body (or may), or if you just can not live without dance club over the big city a week, then this is your place. disco lighting? Check. Bartenders that look like they just left of the runway? Uh huh. Hottest DJs ever? Yes. You will have a size of up here, so bring your best moves and bust 'em like they were not in ski boots all day.
Real Local Hangout: Sandbar
A place frequented mainly local singles because of its location west of Vail (about of the two major grocery stores), this space has gone through a few incarnations, but has remained a hot spot for bands, dancing, swimming and lots and lots of libations. Do not dress for this game, you mark as one out of Towner. Do not forget to make good use of the Free City Bus fabulous Vail, which takes you on Vail Village Lionshead to the bar where the locals play.
Where everybody knows your name (even when they do, actually): The Tap Room
At the top of Bridge Street (center of Vail), this is the bar for those looking for a scene truly traditional apres ski. All Titles usual, as "the place to see and be seen" to apply, and all ages feel comfortable in this bar / restaurant with warm wood barvarian, fireplace crackling and a waiter who I swear I know from home. Jeans with fur mix, mixing Mojitos with Coors beers, and I swear you went to school with that date next to the famous kind actress.
Honorable mentions:
- The Red Lion – Vail first bar. More than a scene of 30 +, go for the nachos, stay to the atmosphere.
- Vendetta is – One of the first "meeting places" with his fair share of wild stories. Long known as a meeting place for ski patrol, an ideal place for pizza.
- Covered Bridge Coffee (hours during the day), the best place for a cup of coffee before you go!
Post Script: Lionshead (the west of Vail) also has its own with Garfinkle, Bart and Yeti and access to Adventure Ridge, possibly the best FAC (Friday afternoon Club) around.
