My friend has a DWI while driving my car. Will I have special license plates on my car?
I live in Minnesota and my friend borrowed my car and she got a DWI. It was his second offense and took the license plates of my car. Will I have special license plates now? Some people call them plates whiskey. Is it possible to transfer them to your car?
If the car is legally registered to you, contact the agency that made the arrest to find out if you need to buy new plates. If you were not charged, and the car is yours, do not label whiskey. Your friend does not have a license after his second DWI. If there killed someone while driving your car, you would be sued. I hope all are safe.
