How I can be a waiter?

Ok, this may seem stupid, but … I want to be a waiter in a couple of months, but I do not know if I can if I fit the profile for the job. I have only 18 years old. I bartend because I really need the money for college, and I think it will take me advice beyond an hourly wage. I know I can get the Wisconsin Bartending License $ 25.00 online. The thing is, ever was Mr. Popular in SA and I'm not someone with a smiley face on 24 / 7 (and that does not mean I'm angry or sad) I do however have very good customer service skills and am very attentive and note that if someone has not yet received their drinks. I think I can learn a lot from barman tricks that help me too. I am also very tall and thin and gangly looking. I do not know if their is a specific profile or if my age will hurt me or my height skinnyness /, etc. I live in Wisconsin, where you can be 18 to pour, and 18 to serve alcohol

In fact, there are two ways I know to enter the bar. The first, already mentioned, is to go to a gym barman. This course is relatively short, and in general are not too expensive. It's a good thing to do, and do not want to be looking at how to make a surfer "on acid", while there are people waiting you. The other way to go is to a Barback for a while. These are the dudes you see running around, filling the ice, and occasionally popping beers to people if it is busy. It a good way to get experience and see what the whole scene is like before committing to bartending school. They do not pay much, but it is work experience. In the opinion of the people me not care about your personality when you're behind the bar. They just want their drinks faster. The most important thing is to have a good memory. What of those 10 people with their wallets out was here first? When a drunk girl says, "I want another!" will be able to remember what she was drinking, or have to waste time trying to get her to say? Just my $ 0.02. Good luck, kid.
