How to send a cake through DQ loading freezer? any advice?
Ok, so I want to send a birthday cake for my dad DQ is in your home (northern Quebec) I'm in Montreal today …. basically the only way is to send it through the load (freezer) but staff is not always careful with the freezer / cold boxes and leave them for a while …. so my question is, how I can package so that the frozen remains longer … I was thinking about putting in a large freezer bag before placing in the box and maybe stick some frozen ice packs in too, but if the Apperently Melting ice packs may have a negative afftect cake (defrost )…. any idea to keep it frozen?
Send in a styrofoam cooler inside a cardboard box. Pack the cooler with dry ice. It will keep the cake cool for a few days. DQ Ask if they know where you can get dry ice. Ask the MGR and the staff are often young and can not know!
