Ice Boxes History

Sharp pain radiating to the head and neck, any ideas?
The past few days I've had this strange pain in my head. It starts as a sharp pain behind my eyes it's not very painful, more annoying really. It moves down in my neck below the ear and this is where it really hurts. It's a sharp pain that occurs more often when I am sitting or standing up straight, which occurs every 8 seconds or less. When you stop for a few hours in the area where the pain was worse, my neck muscles are very sore. I read about the ice pick headaches and appears similar to that, plus they have a history of migranes. But this has been happening for 3 days and is only on my left side. Could be just a pinched nerve or something more serious? I'll make an appointment with a doctor, but I want to know what type of doctor to see? I really do not have one unless you have the doc-in-the-box. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
It is a myofascial pain syndrome. This means that one of the neck muscles are referring neck pain through his skull, and behind the eye. You can find a massage therapist Licensed who are trained in trigger point therapy to relieve muscle involved. Or you can consult with a doctor who can refer to a physical therapist you can do trigger point therapy, stretching the affected muscle, and rehabilitate the neck to minimize future episodes.
