How do I keep my refrigerator cooling elements and my freezer box freezing?

I am renting an apartment that comes with a refrigerator Senior / freezer, and I will be moving across the country in about three months, so do not want to buy a new refrigerator, but my coolilng items in the refrigerator until has recently started freezing, and even after the large amount of ice melting and cleaning out immediately after freezing again after it returns on. It is not a "frost free" refrigerator, of course. Are there any old-fashioned way to avoid this happening? I have the same problem with the freezer (One of the biggest "freezer box" types).

The way in which it cools is that the freon goes in depth the freezer and then goes in section refig. If the freezer is full of frost that makes the Freon into the coldest refig into a ball of ice in the cooling plate in the refig. If the doors Seal or no light stays on in the frost will refig excessive accumulation. To check the doors, have a dollar bill and close the door on part of it. Tire out. If you do not feel a little resistance, the door will not close there. If the gasket is not ripped than you should be able to adjust the door to seal again. No forget to check the board in the bottom of the door. There is no way to stop freezing up. You can just slow down. The less you know on the less frost.
