Boston cream pie!? HELP!?
I'm making my boyfriend a Boston cream pie for his day .. b his mother says her favorite .. I've never done the one before .. it sounds like a pie award to me .. here is the recipe I found .. BOSTON CREAM CAKE regular graham crackers 2 cm. boxes French vanilla pudding time 1 (16 oz.) Cool Whip 3 1 / 2 c. 1 can milk chocolate frosting in a square pan, place the biscuits in the background, add pudding, then cookies, pudding, then cool. Then add ice on top. Does this sound right? Hi – I would not do that version … you're right, sounds very similar to the pie. Boston Cream Pie is pie. I have an easy and quick version for you. Try this and a happy birthday your boyfriend! Boston Cream Cake Prep Time: 30 minutes Cook Time: 1 hour Ready in: 3 Hours Servings: 10 "An easy delicious version of Boston creampie" 1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix 1 (5 ounce) package instant pudding mix vanilla 1 (16 ounce) package prepared chocolate frosting cake Make according to package directions, using two 8-inch round pans. Let cake cool completely. Mix pudding according to package directions, divided between layers. Place chocolate icing, uncovered, in microwave for 30 seconds until thin, pour over the top of the cake until it runs down the sides. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
