Ice Box Dessert

Do you think this practice is rude?
Occasionally my husband and I went for dessert and get ice cream and one at a snack shop, and have a box that says please advice on the tip. I find it very rude because these people are paid to serve, are not doing all that much, but removing ice cream or ice and expect a tip for doing what they are supposed to do in the first place. Do not go beyond the call of duty. I find this very rude.
Am agree with you that is rude. I see this attempt to collect additional money even more. Personally, I am inclined not suitable for most of the things that People expect to get from place to start. Like a shampoo girl, then cutting hair. Haircut and salon services are expensive as it is. Then at the top from which you have to tip? That is their job. Same for delivery services such as delivery of furniture. Why would you tip, if that is their job. I think some people, such as waiters and waitresses, possibly, you should get tip, but only in a restaurant that can not be experienced and not planning on that was a race for them. These are expensive restaurants expensive luxury and waiters / waitresses should not tip. Usually, they are more professional in these centers, and thus should not be paid from the business people they serve. I recently had an experience where I took my children on a short holiday on a dude ranch all inclusive. In all the guests are assigned a table for which all meals were eaten. You had the same servers throughout your stay. Well, after of two days we were there appeared a brief note on the table looking right where I usually sat was saying something to the effect of – usually deposit each meal served is 1.50 per person. Where 5 of us for a total of 7.50 that was expected to leave for tips! EACH meal. That is 22.50 per every day we were there! We were there for 5 days would have been more than a hundred dollars! Anyway, I did not tip every meal, and out of guilt only, Went for 1 meal per day for the rest of our stay. When I got home my husband said it was stolen. We looked through and there brouchure himself said that all was included, to tips for your servers and maid service. He did, however, that "If you believe that the services provided to you beyond expectations an additional tip would be appreciated much! "I felt so uncomfortable after that sign appeared on my table. I could go on and on but it's bad manners of this or any snack shop to put a picture from beginning to end. FYI – my brother goes to the island of Jersey in England from time to time and I said usual deposit is not there – Hum ………
