Ice Box Days
Was anyone up with a box of ice in your home.?
My mother used to tell me all kinds of stories of his days. She is now 81 years. of age. She told me about the ice man. His horse pulled a wagon full of ice blocks of ice. It went from door to door delivery of ice blocks to your fridge. Now I know why some people call a refrigerator a refrigerator until today. WAS is a wooden box? Mom tells me I do not remember what the box was made.
What Grandma's wonderful stories to share with you. The cooler "is made in wood. Yes, now you know why some refer to it as the bar." The first real bar I saw, was in Walton. I had always wished that I could have one as a conversation in my house. My grandmother also told me some stories of things about the "Iceman" to make its home delivery to your home.
