Symptoms and Treatment for Laryngitis

4. Make a mixture of honey and lemon and gargle it.

6. Suck lozenges at regular intervals throughout the day to moisten the throat.
7. Cut three large onions and put in four or five cups water, simmer until syrupy, strain. Next, put five to six tablespoons of syrup in a glass of warm water with a tablespoon of honey and a dash of lemon. Drink slowly.
8. To gargle with sea salt and water and use several times a day.
9. Any hot tea stimulate the throat and help relax the vocal cords.
10. Add a little honey to the juice of 10 fresh basil leaves and lick slowly.
11. Drinking a mixture of 2 tablespoons of onion juice and 1 spoonful of honey.
12. Avoid excessive talking or clearing the throat.
13. Quit smoking.
14. Drinking less alcohol and more water. Drink plenty of fluids.
