Home Brewery

Where can I find the best home brewery kit for around $100.?
The best for $100, I would have to say go all glass, glass carboys are far better than plastic buckets, They will last forever for one thing & you can see what is really going on. You will want a kit with a 5 gal. & 6.5 gal. glass carboy. If you don’t mind doing some searching you could build your own kit for less than $100, just check out some flea markets, thrift stores & shop walmart using the brew shop for hard to find items. I never purchased a complete kit but have just shopped around or built everything I have. If I had purchased everything from my local brewshop I would have spent at least $1500 & I can say I have spent nowhere near this amount, at most $300 & I have everything including All grain equipment, enough to do 10 gal. batches a kegerator and even found supplies for harvesting yeast at a flea market including a stir plate and a bad ass wort chiller. If however you are purchasing this as a gift & do not have time to shop around check Amazon, Ebay or More beer is my favorite website. These kits usually just include what you need to get started with out much extra & the markup is insane do not forget you will need at least a good 5 gallon kettle which will never be included I recommend getting bigger if possible & also ingredients for your first batch. I also recommend a wort chiller if you are at all serious about brewing, you can make one easily. They cut cooling time from hours to just 15 minutes more or less depending on batch size Real time saver. Good luck
