Is my home bre kit insurance?
I left some cleaning chemicals in my home brew kit and forgot about it. Its been about 6 months. If i clean the chemicals to be sure to prepare a few beers and stuff. O has been absorbed chemicals from the plastic. I will die if they drink beer from that thing? Yes just a bit more in chemicals to kill the old chemicals. hope I'm alive after the process the beer I wish you luck!
depending on the chemicals that may not even be able to make beer. the yeast used for making Beer is very sensative to contaminants and needs a secure environment to grow in. preparation kit shouldn't absorb anything, but they may have. however, in professional brewers that use an acid solution to clean the stone of beer (a mineral deposit formed within the processing tanks of beer) from vats brewing. id say that if in fact the beer is produced and tastes can be, then you should be fine. chemicals usually fairly easy to detect. if it tastes funky or doesn't seem right and then take no IT.
