Discount / cheap beer home brewing supplies?
I'm starting home brewing. I have a kit with everything needed except the fourth 30 pot and bottles. Is there anywhere online that has low prices on any of these items? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!
Cheapest place to get bottles is the grocery store to buy beer lift-off. Sure, it's a little more expensive than buying bottles in a homebrew shop, but you get the beer too! Another alternative for obtaining bottles is to visit local bars (especially if they maintain a large selection of beers) and see if they can donate – I have enough bottles of ginger man in Houston for a whole lot just ask a waiter! Any place you could possibly buy bottled virgin will have a strong great – better reuse of other bottles.
