What type of polyurethane should be used to fill a clear top bar?
I built a bar in the games room and am about to clear coat the top. This is a stained wood top and wonder what used to delete cover. I would like to make it look like a bar than a restaurant but the epoxy is way too expensive. I used Minwax polyurethane on a table I have. I should only like 7 layers of Minwax or is there a better way? Preferably something you can get from Home Depot.
I like the spar urethane – but still has several coats, and that's what I used in my butcherblock oak countertop. I used four layers, three years ago are still as new.
