4-6 oz. Salmon Fillets
1 LEMON
1 tablespoon oat bran
1 ½ teaspoon dill
½ teaspoon thyme leaves
½ teaspoon onion powder
1 lemon
1 teaspoon paprika
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine oat bran, dill, thyme, onion powder and paprika. Sprinkle over fillets salmon. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes. Serve with lemon wedges.

ROAST BEEF
3-4 pounds, rib or sirloin.
1 teaspoon salt for each pound of meat.
½ cup flour.
1 small onion.
1 cup water.
Rub with salt, flour, pepper and onion.
Place meat in a roasting pan with the fat side up.
Add a cup of water.
Do not cover unless a court bid is used less.
If meat is the fat that do not require basting.
Roasting time depends on the shape of the cut.
For roasts well done, the average cooking time is 30 minutes per pound of flesh through 25 minutes per pound, and 20 rare.

Place ham in a pan and rub with mustard. Sprinkle

300 F (150 C) for 30 minutes or until tender.

Papa Pizza
1 / 2 cup broccoli, chopped
1 / 4 onion, chopped
1 / 4 cup carrots, finely chopped
1 small tomato, sliced
2 baked potatoes
1 / 2 tablespoon margarine
1 / 2 tablespoon flour
1 / 2 cup skim milk
1 / 4 cup cheese, grated
Cook broccoli, onion and carrots in a small amount of water until tender and set aside. In a saucepan, melt margarine and add flour. Add milk gradually, stirring constantly. Cook until sauce thickens, stirring occasionally. Add cheese and stir until melted. Add the vegetables to the cheese sauce and stir. Split open potatoes. Pour equal amounts of cheese vegetable mixture over each potato. Cover with tomato slices.
For 2 people.
Vegan chocolate cookies
Ingredients:
2 cups unbleached white flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 / 2 teaspoon salt
cinnamon to taste (optional)
1 cup vegan chocolate chips
1 cup sugar organic
1 / 2 cup canola or vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 / 4 cup water
Getting There:
Preheat oven to 350.
In a large bowl combine the flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Mix in chocolate chips. Make a well in the center bowl and set aside.
In a medium bowl mix vegan sugar and oil size. Add add vanilla and water. Be sure to mix well. Add the wet to the dry well. Spoon dough onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 8-12 minutes.
Remove and place them on wire cooling racks.
Nearly two dozen cookies.

Beat with mixer until creamy. Drop on cookie sheet and bake at 350 F (175 C) until golden brown.

Note: You can also add fresh fruits such as blueberries or vegan chocolate chips for some variety!

Eat at least two Food Guide Servings of fish each week.
Select lean meat, with little or no fat or salt.
Peanut Butter Product Recalls
The outbreak of the disease of salmonella that began in late summer and is ongoing, has been linked to eight deaths, including two in Virginia. In total, about 500 people in 43 states and Canada have become ill. About 22 percent were hospitalized, and about half of those affected are children.
Health officials said they would work with firms provided by Peanut Corporation of America to continually update a list of memory that is available on the FDA website. The site details a long list Popular products are affected, including candy, cookies, snacks and snack mixes.

The past decade witnessed the massive relocation of jobs to countries with low cost, decimating U.S. and Canadian manufacturing base. Cheap food can bring the cream following crisis.Ice health. Food of Chinese origin have been found by authorities United States, Canada, Australia, to contain an industrial chemical called melamine that is used to make plastic. In recent weeks, the government China has admitted that the addition of melamine to food – which raises levels of the protein, making products look more poor nutritional quality – is a practice common in China.
Melamine can cause kidney stones and kidney failure when eaten. It has sent about 54,000 Chinese consumers in hospital and caused the deaths of at least four babies.

BUY LOCAL
Whenever possible you need to buy locally grown food. In general the food is fresher, taste better, took one day after purchase. Local produce more probably has a higher nutrient content than store-bought products that have spent time on a truck for transport and storage.
In addition, farmers who sell directly to local customers receive the full value of their products, can sell cheaper because there is less cost to the processing, transportation, packaging, storage etc.

lemon juice ¼
1-teaspoon anise
1 oz Jamaican rum and a half
½ teaspoon of grenadine
Shake with ice cubes. Strain into cocktail glass.
Martini (sweet)
1-oz gin
½ ounce Italian vermouth
Bitter orange 1dash
Shake with ice cubes. Strain into cocktail cold glass
NON-ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
Horchata FIZZ
1 ½ ounces of syrup horchata
½ oz lime juice
Club Soda
Shake and horchata lemon juice with ice cubes. Strain into fizz
Cristal. Add ice cubes. Add club soda glass. Serve with straws.
Iced Coffee
There are many ways to make coffee, because they are different brands. Here are some general rules.
Water supply to measure results and coffee.
2 tablespoons of coffee for each 1 cup
Make the coffee just before serving
Make double-strength coffee and poured hot coffee over ice in a tall glass. As the ice melts, it dilutes the coffee. Top the glass with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
