Anyone know how I can get, win, or make a kegerator in my task bar, low cost?
not really want to drop $ 500plus in one unit, but I really enjoy the next football season to include in my home bar.
Well you have many choices here …. without knowing what you're willing to spend, can be difficult to find the right match for you. …. my first local Wal-Mart has them in stock for $ 388, but on page website that lists for $ 488, so not sure if my store down to get rid of it or what … but try first. I bought my first kegerator through classifieds for my hometown (granted I lived in a college town, and were a common place) with what I suggest, if you live near a college town, check line classifieds for you. See your restaurant in the local supply house …. auctions usually go to restuarant and the machinery used. You might get lucky and may have. However, this last option will depend … You can try to find an old refrigerator that someone is selling, and turn again, but depending on space you have, can not be .. If these practices .. then you can drill a hole through the door, just by the coupler shank valve, faucet, hose, regulator and CO2 tank. This would be ideal if you want a barrel 1 / 4 … Drum pony can go with a small refrigerator, but not a micro, not wide enough. If you decide to try to make one yourself,,, you will need to measure an empty barrel and get the width of it. Then allow for an extra 4 inches in width inside the refrigerator. Will the 2 inches on each side to allow air flow, otherwise it is frothy beer. Suggest that the first two first options. If you do your car, you still spending a lot of money for all hoses and other equipment needed … Good luck and pour one for me when you get it:)
