Home dance floor?
I bought a house (2900 SF), with a design of open space in the main living areas and a dance floor with 450SF '14 vault which borders the main dwelling room.I installed 24 x 24 marble tiles in the area of dance and also put in a full sized commercial Wurlitzer Juke Box and a modern round table and a motorized bar stool set.Have 18 "disco mirror ball field lights color mini lights and a pair of black. That really depends on your lifestyle. Will you use the dance floor more than the pin-ball machine, the cabins? I have made dance floors houses for people with ballroom, line dancing and salsa as a hobby and in constant use plants. But I had other clients who "thought" it would be nice to have a dance floor installed only to find that not entertain a lot that way. Now, in a house, we left the dance floor, but added French bistro coffee tables and chairs that can be moved when it wanted to use the word dance. Ultimately, the decision should be based on your lifestyle and what eventually will be an extension.
