My PC takes forever to Start Up!?

Ok, I've done some research and I have removed all unnecessary startup programs, cleaning my registry, ran several antivirus and antispyware scans and nothing has come out. When you press the power button flashes i my Dell logo and all goes well until I get to the screen Welcome. (Vista Home Premium) After the welcome screen the screen goes blank with only the mouse for 2-3min and then everything else up popper (Fund screen, a bar at the bottom of the screen, icons) I have tryed all the basics. I havent installed anything new so what could be the problem? Im running a Dell Inspiron E1505 Windows Vista Home Premium Core Duo 1.86GHz 2gig of ram I have also defragged and clean my registry

This has happened to me before, and the only way to fix it was restored to its original factory state. You must have too many conflicting programs. I have to do my every 6 months. First save all your important files, programs, images, etc. Then turn off your computer, wait 15 seconds and reconnect. Then, the first screen with three options appears, press F11. Be quick since it is only a few seconds to do this. If you're too slow, try again. Then select "full restoration" and follow the instructions on the screen – do this as a last resort because it is time to put everything back in.
