Are there adolescent / young adult Australians with any Marfan syndrome, apart from myself?
I've never met someone in person you know what Im doing well. I am depressed. Is there anyone out there in Australia? or New Zealand? I'm in Wagga Wagga to Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane the same distance from me as Auckland (NZ) and Perth. Please let me wanted to buy a beer (or whatever if you under 18) and talk to you. I am very lonely in east. I have 18 years, study and live on the campus of Charles Sturt University. I have confirmed Marfan syndrome. I have no family history. Ive known since I was 13 years. I'm not a loser at random from the network, I would like to talk to someone in person who knows your taste (not a family or a friend either.) my mail is dankkent@hotmail.com
Join the helpline called Marfan_support_and_chat group I know of at least one person from New Zealand which is part of the group. There are many of us in that group and others who are well versed in Marfans. some even about your age! They meet every Sunday, Wednesday and Friday night (time U.S.) I think it would be good for you, would be Monday, Thursday and Saturday noon (I think). In fact, have a chat on-line! Who knows.
