Old Tupton Ware

Old Tupton Ware – earthenware collectables of the future.

The ancient name Tupton Ware was attributed only to the dishes exquisite ceramics in 2002. The name originated from the beautiful village of Old Tupton, just south of Chesterfield in Derbyshire, England. In the years since the conception, Old Tupton Ware has improved with new designs and designers, refined methods of manufacturing and production capacity. The designs are generally produced in the United Kingdom and the perception manufactured in the Far East. Equivalent items produced in the United Kingdom tend to be several times more expensive but the quality is probably very similar.

Today, the collection is synonymous with ceramic designs or sliptrailing tubelining, a process by which the proposed plan is squeezed in the pot in the form of a fine extrusion of liquefied clay or slip squeezed through a glass tube of a bag held in the hand.
