Did any American beers (including microbrews) comply with German law of purity?

Yes, some do. It depends on the brewery, really. I know Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant and founder Dan Gordon was trained in Germany and only beer according to the Reinheitsgebot (German Beer Purity Law).
