Fresh Beer

How do I prepare for my homemade fresh berries of beer?
I'm making a light ale and wanted to add berries. How I Prepare 5 pounds of fresh blackberries for my beer? Should some water pasteurization (heat to 160 degrees. F for 15 minutes) or simply wash them and freeze them? Should I break them? Any help is appreciated!
If in any way have access to an ultraviolet light sterilizes the berries. I have read and as the use of alcohol as a disinfectant. Ethanol can be achieved even if Everclear is good or isopropyl alcohol and give them a light rinse with water. I maserate them slightly and put them in the beer aging. The juice leach into the beer very well. The feel heat, especially in water, filtered some color and flavor you want in your beer. Note that the aromatic compounds are volatile and off the water and water-vapor in the heat.
